Fall 2 Youth Programs
Tumbling Level 1 Ages 3-6(2 classes) Tuesdays or Wednesdays- 5:15-5:45pm Classes start November 11th & 12th. All tumbling classes involve fun activities, building strength, flexibility, building self-confidence and respect for others. SPACE IS LIMITED. Tumbling I will be limited to the first 6 children registered and paid for each class. Cost: $30
Tumbling Level 2 Ages 7-12(2 classes) Tuesdays or Wednesdays- 4:15-5:00pm Classes start November 11th & 12th. All tumbling classes involve fun activities, building strength, flexibility, building self-confidence and respect for others, also, building skills off of previous classes and the tumbling 1 program. SPACE IS LIMITED. Tumbling 2 will be limited to the first 10 children registered and paid for each class. Cost: $30
Tiny Tykes Basketball(Co-Ed)- Pre-school-2nd graders are invited to a fun and fast paced introduction to basketball, this camp focuses on building motor skills like balance and coordination, basic movement, body control, rules and beginning fundamental basketball skills. Class also helps develop listening skills and cooperation. Classes will meet for 5 Saturdays. Parents are welcome and encouraged to be involved.

Basketball Clinic (Co-Ed)-Advanced 2nd-6th graders are invited to a fun and fast paced basketball skills clinic. This clinic will focus on developing & improving their individual skills to the next level. We will cover shooting fundamentals, ball handling skill sets & team defense will be introduced.
Class meets November 22nd-December 20th Time: 10:30am-11:30am Cost: $25.00
Girls Travel Basketball-4th, 5th & 6th Grade- Mid Michigan Youth Basketball League (MMYBL) Please visit http://www.hoopzonebasketball.com/mmybl.html for more information on league. Games are on Saturdays playing at Jack Pine Conference Schools for 6-7 Saturdays. If interested in playing please pre-register at RFC Welcome desk or call 989-465-2079 ASAP. Registration fee not due until games begin in January. Practices begin soon!!! Registration fee is based on amount of players. Volunteer Coaches Needed. If interested please let staff know when pre-registering child.

Karate-Thursdays starting November 13th 6:30-7:30 (2nd grade-adults) Class meets 5 times (no class Nov. 27th) Cost:$25
Classes are structured, disciplined and interactive, fun, but non-competitive. Self-awareness, self-respect, safety and respect for others are emphasized at all times.
Adult Fitness Classes- Start the week of September 15th-Yoga is currently in session and will continue the week of September 15th
With Robin Stremlow
Stretch and strengthen your muscles and mind using static sequences and breath-based flows. Monday classes will tone muscles and increase energy, and Wednesday classes will promote flexibility and reduce stress through passive, gentle movements. Each session is appropriate for beginners to advanced students.
When: Mondays and Wednesdays, 5:30-7:00

Notes: Yoga is best practiced on an empty stomach so try not to eat much for about two hours before class. Wear comfortable, lightweight clothing, and bring a water bottle and mat if you have one (if not, mats will be available free of charge). Robin is a 200-hour certified yoga teacher, specializing in Ashtanga, Hatha, and Yoga Nidra. She completed training in Rishikesh, India, the birthplace of yoga, with Rishikul Yogshala, a Yoga Alliance-accredited yoga school created by dev-otees of Master Swami Rama, founder of the Himalayan Institute. In addition to several styles of yoga, Robin has also studied yoga therapy, philosophy, pra-nayama (breath control), meditation, shat kriya (cleansing), and anatomy un-der yoga Master Bipin Baloni and a 4-person team of dedicated, experienced teachers. She is excited to bring the skills learned in India back to mid-Michigan, her home community. It is her intention to share ancient methods for holistic wellness with the people who raised her, starting with one body and one soul at a time. Tuesdays: ZUMBA with Tricia Samsel-6:30PM
We take the "work" out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie burning dance fitness party. Beginners to advanced welcome.
Thursdays: Total Body Fitness with Laurie Bell 6:30PM
Experience this challenging and dynamic whole body muscle conditioning class using body weight, dumbells, exercise balls and kick boxing. Beginners to advanced welcome.
Belly Dancing with Brandy Boyle at 6:45PM
Belly dancing basics will be covered. This class is a fun atmosphere and a great workout. Beginners to advanced dancers welcomed.
Fridays: Weigh in day with Mike Baker
We have Punch Cards available for $50 for 11 passes for a fitness class or weight room entry.
